If you have HD Access, you get the HD versions of the channels included in your programming package. Don't forget that an HD television, 5-LNB dish, and HD equipment are required to see HD channels.
How to find your HD channels
HD versions of standard-definition (SD) channels are broadcast on the same channel. Both are listed in the program guide consecutively, with the HD version first. Enter the channel number (same for both SD and HD) and it will automatically tune to the HD version.Example: ESPN is Channel 200 on your System. If you have HD service, entering channel 200 will automatically take you to the ESPN HD Channel.
HD channels similar to, but not the same as, existing SD channels, are located close to the SD channel number in the program guide. In some cases, these similar HD channels are put in "sub-channels" and shown with a "-1" after the channel number.Example: Fox News Channel is Channel 360 on your System. The "sub-channel" for the HD version of the Weather Channel would be 360-1. In order to directly tune to the HD channel, you must enter "360" then "-" then "1" on your remote.
How to remove SD Channels
If you want to remove the SD channels from your display, follow these steps:

[*]Step 1: Push MENU on your remote control
[*]Step 2: From that screen, select PARENTAL
[*]Step 3: Go to FAV's & SETUP
[*]Step 4: Go to SYSTEM SETUP
[*]Step 5: Go to DISPLAY
[*]On the DISPLAY screen select GUIDE HD CHANNELS and then HIDE SD DUPLICATES:P

Boss what are you up to? Do you mean to say HD channel is available in Tata Sky?If so then why do you require a 5-LNB dish? If you are posting the thread in a wrong section then feel free to apologise.... do not mis-lead the people in the forum

Looks like he's cut a snippet from a direcTV or Dishnetworks ( US ) posting and pasted it here for the TS folks ....

Yup, full copy/paste of DirecTV support page on how to locate HD channels. It won't work here!

This is not applicable to Tata Sky at present.
