hello is there anyone who has successfully downgraded jioairber firmware cause mine is SRCMJIO_JIDU6401_R2.0.19.5 and we used to be able to upload zip files i think and the it would downgrade it but now it is asking for .bin file. I have a .zip file which contains .img and a .sig file. Context is im trying to again get root access of my jioairfiber but the backup options is not there in the latest version so we need to dowgrade.

i have been successfully able to get root access to my airfiber and jiofiber too. But they have changed something in this version so im stuck at the first steps.
Please anyone share your ideas and opinions. Thank you

i have the same 6401 model running R2.0.18.2. I had root access at some point and due to how locked down it is and zero software support i gave up.I dont think rooting will get u anywhere. What are you trying to achieve?

I was trying to get odu access but I had to reset the router and lost the root access. Previously I was able to run ftp server.
Im also going to try to get access to uboot but we need to ssh into the router to get the login information...

f0r3he4d web ui updater is giving error invalid firmware and format should be (bin) old firmware which we have is (img), if you have downgraded firmware successfully, please provide steps.

after extracting the zip file, inside there are two files namely

HYVARLtsmm.img and
