Hi everyone,
I've spent quite some time reading through various threads here and decided to contact Airtel to request enabling bridge mode on my Nokia router. I recently got a static IP after going through quite a bit of effort. However, after making the request, an Airtel customer service representative called me within 30 minutes. They inquired about which port I wanted to enable bridge mode on. I suggested port 4, but they proposed enabling it on all four ports and also disabling WiFi. About 30 minutes later, I noticed that my static IP WAN profile had disappeared, but the PPPoE profile was still active, assigning me a dynamic IP as usual.
I then accessed the network -> LAN settings on the modem (interestingly, web access was still available, despite being told that bridge mode had been enabled on all ports) and set bridge mode for port 4 before saving the changes. Afterwards, I connected port 4 to my Asus AX86U Pro router and tried to manually assign the static IP, but it didn't work. I even attempted to switch to PPPoE mode with the correct username and password, but still no luck.
Given these issues, I'm starting to question whether bridge mode was properly enabled on my Nokia router.

- If bridge mode was truly enabled, should the modem still assign me a dynamic IP from an active PPPoE profile?
- If bridge mode was enabled on all ports, should I still be able to access the web UI via 192.168.1.1?
- Shouldn't the network -> LAN page display bridge mode for all ports? It still shows route mode for all four ports.
