Help selecting dongle

Checked just now. Speed is down. I remember getting 1 Mbps.

H is a 3G standard. So, that's 3G alright. With 1650 plan too, you'll get similar speeds.

But it won't change the speed. It should replace. I dunno how mtnl Delhi works, though.

Why wouldn't it change the speed? I saw on other forums people getting around 500 kB/s in IDM.

Because you're on mtnl. Mtnl can't go beyond 3.6mbps theoretically. Those getting 500kBps+ are probably using mtnl sim with bsnl network which isn't present in Delhi NCR.

So, in a nutshell, you'll continue getting the same speeds as you are currently.

Out of the question then. Has MTS closed the 999 plan with 40gb FUP? I can't find it anywhere. That would be the last thing I could try.

Yes. That plan is long gone.

Final option is reliance CDMA, if you're willing to spend ~1k (cost of unlocked dongle) to test it out.

Also, dongles have a sim slot, in response to your earlier query.

Will this plan mean no FUP? When I talked to Reliance CC, they said no plan with 30GB+ FUP.

No, it isn't unlimited for Delhi.
