well, its always better to use Mobiles for long distance calls, after all its 1 Rupee per minute these days...:)
This is not the issue. Issue is BSNL is giving some information on their site but the same is not followed by them in billing or not known by their staff.

Post all details of your bill telephone number consumer No ,details of STD calls etc, and then , I can take up ., on your behalf, your problem . . The expected reply will be to contact the A.O.

Friend i asked you to contact the customer care about the tariff of home 500c plan generally - not for me only.


Which A.O of BSNL I should contact in TamilNadu ?
Para two:
You should try 1800 424 1600 or take a print out of the website page showing One India Plan ( and the page with std call details )and approach/telephone the Accounts Officer of your area.
(ONLY for . ISD they have a pop up screen . in the telephone Tariff page ).
Send an email to CC , so that you can have some written proof, if they reply.
Or make an appeal to higher authorities.

please go through my first post, i already complained this matter to AO. moreover i sent copy of home 500c and one india plan tariff along with my complaint letter to AO.i have also registered my complaint in bsnl customer care website - the status is still pending.

I am not an employee of any ISP/telephone providers/ cellphone providers/Wimax etc In India.

am in the plan home 500c with 175 free calls. As per their ad. after free calls the call charge would be as per one india plan. In one india plan call charges for STD is Rs.1/minute But when i received the detailed bill it shows they charged Rs.2/minute for STD calls. I complained about this matter to AO. After one week he replied that it was a genuine case but he could not help me as the billing was not under their control and he assured me that he will take over this matter to his higher authorities.
did any one noticed this problem?.

Hey i am confused, is the 30/60 sec pulse rate applicable only to H500c users or to subscribers who are already on One India Plan?

It is for 500C customers.
 
I'm the first person to change the plan. I fed all the information to BSNL people about the plan. I did'nt find any problem with STD calls. They charged 1 Rs for STD calls after free calls. It's upto u how u educate the bsnl people. :rofl:

salem accounts officer cheating you. go to consumer court. It was clearly written in tariff plan like this " Call charges Beyond free call limits as per ONE INDIA" and that idiot says that pulse duration. He apparently trying to coverup his mistake. take printouts from website and show it to him. they have to do it. Here in Maharashtra v don't have any problem
 
earlier i had this problem with UL900. Thats why i switched to UL900+ with one india plan. but it beats the purpose of no rental. When I complained earlier I got the information that only the pulse charge is 1 rupee. but each STD pulse will be 30 seconds.
 
Yesterday i sent a complain to appellate authority (BSNL) with necessary proofs.I'm waiting for the reply. it may take seven to ten days.
 
what ver available in website, they MUST follow. It may take time. But u will get result. Main problem here is people sitting at (At central level) changing plans and other things with out informing and educating their own staff. For an example THIS PLAN 500C according to bsnl.in implemented from 1-11-2007. But in maharashtra they official communication only in the last week of decmber. In the mean time interpretation by local staff is misleading and to add to this ego problems of staff for getting info from customers rather than higher ups. Somebody has written that PLAN 900 is not one india plan. Yes that's true PLAN 900 is not linked to one india. pl. go through the following link u will get answer

Inspite of all these things still BSNL broadband is the best when compared with TATA, reliance, hathway etc. It works without the help of customer support. I'm using since it's launch. i never contacted them for any technical problems. But for billing problem i visited twice and i got answer from them.
