hot to undo firmware update?

Hii........Today i just updated my modem firmware as given in culcuttatelephones website...ever since then the link light goes off and on periodically and i amnt able to browse the net ...broadband was working fine untill this update...how do i undo this udate? by the way i am a user in kerala..and my modem is siemens c2110.....i tried reset button onthe back but it landed me in more trouble as the link light is nt coming at all....plz help ,...will the bsnl replace my modem if i complain....?

C2110 (Type-A) ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION
There are two types. Clearly states OLD firmware will not be restored by reset .
Better quietly exchange it ! Don't mention FW update !
