I have Fiber Value plan for 799 and every month receive a bill of about 943. My LCO collects the money and he pays to bsnl. The due date for the bill payment of March was on 20th April and I received a call on my landline the my bill payment is due. Then I check it on selfcare portal and there is no payment history for that month. Then I check the payment status of my neighbour which shows "paid through offline channel". Should I contact my LCO or just wait.
And if he does not paid the bill, will my internet be disconnected and when?

Just call BSNL Office and ask if LCO has done payment for your number . If he has not then call him
Also send your LCO a WhatsApp message that your payment is pending

For BSNL it is around 15 days that they disconnect the the connection after non payment

Still don't understand that why would someone not pay the bill online on self care itself

Because here the LCO has the monopoly. He is the only person who provides internet in my area, also he takes 1000 rupees for 449 plan from everyone else and says if you want your connection they have to pay that amount else he will disconnect their connection. He is just looting the people and also people do not complain about this because they do not have any other option so they pay whatever he asks. If someone wants to pay online he do not allows it as if the is the isp. I complaint about this to local exchange but no resolution I think they all have their commission and if I try to complaint to some higher authority he will disconnect me I can't risk to lose my connection because I don't have any option.

Bastards...

I just hope that private operators are able to deploy 5G home broadband at reasonable cost within the next year or two.

Then it will be same situation as when DTH television came and overnight the cable operators had to shut shop for their shoddy service.

@vishalrao Is 5G Home Broadband feasible in this country ?

It requires cooperation from government to allow the mmWave frequencies to be used by private operators and also may not be feasible all over the country. The operators should identify those local areas where deploy fiber is difficult and target those to deploy the 5G home broadband equipment.

But there are many skeptical people that this is not feasible at all despite the hype created by the private operators.

I am still hopeful though, I don't see why not, even if it is challenging technically and from a cost effectiveness point.
