Changing password for root

You have successfully access telnet is now enabled & password is changed when you have successfully uploaded to enc modified config...
So you can open windows 10/11 cmd and type telnet 192.168.29.1.
And username is root and password is password.
Remember JFHG router is in Linux CLI only.. if you know..

If you got telnet access then the GPON SN command will be gponmgr get info.

@kbhatt the thing is, the file didn't get uploaded. Whenever I try to upload it, it shows those words. And even if I can telnet into the router, only builtin commands work

It can show more command like Linux shell or some command with /bin & /pfrm2.0/bin location.

Oh really ... I forgot to check your image gpomngr is not found. So i am seeing that there is another command will be gponctl getSnPwd.

@kbhatt that worked, and as I suspected, the SN is the same format as Manufracturer Code + Last 8 digit MAC.
what about the password? It's all 20 and a bunch of 0s

JFGH Password is fake So password will be ignored...
GPON SN will work only .

When I access my telnet and my GPON password is 00000001 ...
Is that fake
