i personally purchased my onu from ltstore @bhishmaspark

@TheJutsuCaster Ok bro, thanks for the suggestion, I will try to contact my LCO. But I somehow have a feeling that MAC may not be the culprit here because so many people here are successfully using this modem with airtel. Lets see what is the response of LCO.

VLAN Tag mode was set. But I think all the mode scan returned 950.

I guess you can directly try setting up 950 and priority 0. And no GPON password.

Vendor id : HWTC
Serial number: 16 digit hexadecimal
ONT version: AF6.A
Equipment id: HG8120C

I'm not sure whether ont version and equipment id relevant here, but you can try out.

Tried everything. But still a no go. Airtel OEM modem connects within a second in bridge mode. I am starting to lose hope now 😥.

Which airtel ont you were using? Maybe use that vendor id?

Hope your serial number in hex format is correct. Usually its only first four digits in serial number is needed to be converted to hex and remaining are already in hex format.

Also connection through TP-Link took few seconds more unlike where Huawei it took only very few seconds. Almost 20-30 seconds more in tp link.
