Checked again. The internal modem specs do not show linux OS. support.
The boards/ FW/ could be different.

that external modem supports linux because it cud be connected to USB or ethernet. But internal modem goes in PCI slot, so linux shud be able to detect that card first and what it is all abt. so i guess it wont work as manufacturer may not have developed linux driver.2nd how much does that external modem cost? if it costs 600-700 then i can think of buying it.

Called the kandivali(E) office, they said internal modem is 1000 and external router is 1700 odd

hmmmmmm have they jacked up the rates just coz of the high demand they suddenly have?The auction is now not present on ebay.in

Also these modems are not WinVista certified............so not looking all that great a deal
