1.You access BSNL BB in Wireless mode.
2.Also your cable BB by connecting directly the cable to your laptop.
3.Now if both or used , the faster connection ONLY will work. If BSNL fails Cable BB will work.
4. Probably he has connected
a)BSNL to USB port of laptop and
b)cable BB to ethernet port of laptop : or the other way round.
Unable to accept this claim. ( if the modem was set earlier by BSNL staff ).
Para two ;
Are you using Reliance BB ?
Solved the telephone problem ?
Ok, this is how it goes, I didn't say that i can access both. I can access BSNL by turning on the wireless functionality and switching on the BSNL modem. Then i can access the old cable internet if i want to by just connecting the cable to the ethernet port? of laptop. So the cable is in it's original position, before i got the BSNL modem.
I don't use reliance. No more telephone problem except the slight graining noise which i hope will be solved by connecting the telephone wire direct to the splitter and then from splitter to the modem and telephone socket.
About how i got the wireless connection. I had this modem from BSNL to which the telephone line was connected. I removed the telephone wire and connected the local net cable in it's place, then i turned on my lap and switched on the wireless/bluetooth switch on my laptop and there you go. I got the old internet wireless. But this had created conflict in the ISP's entire network leading to internet problems.
Hope i made everything clear.
Thanks and regards
