How to sideload apps on Reliance Jio Fiber Android set-top box?

Got my STB today, tried to install jio tv apk but it seems like the box is locked or whatever i am not able to enable the "unknown sources" thing in the settings.

Installed it and got Prime Video working. But the resolution is low - not full HD. And I could find no settings to change it. I compared it with what I get through Mobile app + Chromecast in the same TV. I remember @ponnitheunreal mentioning about the low res.
Please share your experience.

@Yeskay seems like i am getting 1080p Full HD streaming in my jio box maybe this too differs based on the model.

@Vickytn Could you please tell me how you found the resolution. My observation is visual. I can't find any settings for the video quality in that app.

Tried to install Netflix app from the Aptoide TV bouquet, but got an error message that it's not compatible with the device

Yes, it's Android 7.1 out of the Box. and model is IP STB HD JMC20211
I need some solution for it!!

Like I said nobody here so far has found a way to install third party apps on the model you have. I have both the hybrid model [JHS D200](runs on Android 9) as well as the non-hybrid model [MCM3000] (running on Android 7). I guess we have to ask Jio CC about this disparity among the models.

One of the connections is mine and other is my Uncle's who resides in another floor but the Jio rep are diff for both connections. Even the installation handling was diff.
