How to sideload apps on Reliance Jio Fiber Android set-top box?

Got my STB today, tried to install jio tv apk but it seems like the box is locked or whatever i am not able to enable the "unknown sources" thing in the settings.

Could someone who owns a jio set top box try reset to default settings and see if App Installer appears ?

Yes unfortunately I did reset, lost all the side loaded apps, and installer didn’t appear

@Gufran - Did you switch off your router whilst resetting your jio STB ?

App installer was already gone before resetting so how does it matter?

When you reset the STB , doesn't it go back to older version Android or just user data gets deleted ?
If it's the former then old Android might try to auto update through wifi so asked to switch off router. If it's the latter then we gotta figure out another way.

@bigman91 i did the reset again but didn’t connect stb to Internet, and found out that stb didn’t get back to older version. Still there’s no app installer!
You need to find out the other way

The speed test app has disappeared from the Jio set top box. Did anybody notice this?

Yes net velocity is disappeared from the same day when the box got an software updation

I got my connection last week and don't have option to enable apps from unknown sources.
The option is greyed out.
Is there any other option to install apps on the STB? I have IP STB MCM300
