look at the user interface man. the multi-tasking capabilities. everyone is jealous of webos. i think the UI designer of webos is currently working on android platform. google stole it from HP :D android needs some UI designers. in fact, google needs some good UI designers!

^ And I guess that's the point. The phone doesn't look exciting enough to be picked, I didn't even go beyond that, and so didn't see what's in there. UI has always been Google's undoing. They have excelled with ideas, and mostly their implementations too, but sucked in the presentation.

well the point is... Palm was always short on resources.

HP on the other hand has plenty.

They are going to ship webOS on a lot of devices. smartphones, tablets, printers and i guess netbooks too in the future.

palm pre 2 is just the beginning. if HP does not mess it up, they really have a gem of a product in their hands and it can become a major player in the field.

there is a lot of love for webos in the market.

i also saw a report on engadget about how webos and meego are similar in nature. a game made for pre ran on meego without ANY modification. things are becoming interesting already.

N900 can run unmodified webOS games, what can your Linux-based phone do? -- Engadget
