if HP had announced this earlier, google might have discarded motorola and gone for palm division at HP instead?

WebOS in my opinion is a true Multitasking OS, but as everybody told earlier their problem is HardWare.

Well WebOS might as well be dead for good... HP selling(dumping) all their webos tablets @ 100$ for 16GB & 150$ for 32GB... I would have thought it would have been better if they would have tried to make a decent entry lvl tablet in the 300$ space rather than going up against ipad would have atleast had a fighting chance...

heh. hardly. HP is unlikely to put in the kind of resources that google puts in android. this is just a face saving exercise on part of HP.
