I sent a
music file from my PC via email and accessed it on my phone.
Phone gives me no option to save it locally to some directly or some folder,
every time you need to access the file, you have to go the email and open that.
I have not checked sending any other file as an attachment or something, if you want I can try and let you know.
There are two options to play music, first one is Zune and the second is
Nokia Music, no equalizer in either one of them.
Beats should have it's own media player with advanced options though.
Every Time, you want to transfer music to your phone, you have to use Zune.
Phone doesn't lag at all, but I don't know if I have something interesting to do on it to put it under some pressure in the first place.
Let me know if you want to know about something specific, I cared less about the device and its still laying in the box.
