They r sending message everytime and I have to enter the code sent in sms everytime .. Wht is this new drama? wht if one don't get the sms??

good , you catched the culprit. i had flashblock in chrome, had to whitelist icici site just for this crazy OTP . i noticed that we can easily work around OTP, by copying the flash cookies from one pc to another. so OTP is not completely fool proof. On Vista/Windows 7 flash cookies are stored in the following directory:C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjectsOn Windows XP flash cookies are stored in:C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects

lol. our banks believe in deceptive security practices i guess. :|(you do not need flashblock in chrome as it already has click to play for all plugins. might want to save some RAM there :D )

Offtopic. We were suddenly told that our website needs to support IE8, 7, Chrome, Firefox and safari as well. Suddenly I have almost stopped working on the completed part and just fixing the UI issues. Can understand the pain when the website does not support some browsers. Anyways Internet explorer is the biggest culprit but still.

at least safari and chrome are almost one and the same thing. firefox is also likely to work very similar in nature to chrome. internet explorer 9 is probably fine. anything lower would probably be a headache.

i have not tried logging in to my icici account in the recent days. i do hope that they have removed the requirement to have adobe flash player on their website. i mean most tablet users would not be able to login at all!

i do not think people like to replace websites with apps. especially websites that are accessed on a rather infrequent basis. also banking apps probably do not feature all the capabilities of websites. they are fine for checking statements, making a quick bill payment or stuff like that. personally i would not install apps for every single website i access on a regular basis.
