What do you mean by GHOST?!!Abt D/L method, its complicated but gives fair calculations and considers all scenarios. I am yet to see logically unfair calculation from D/L method.You dont need to understand D/L method. You just put game conditions in to play in ur mind (staying impartial to any playing team) and check if it put fair target or not.

Funny result, "India win by 84 runs!", in old days it shud have read, "India win by 10 wkts"
I have come across these kind of results one or 2 times before too.........

oh actually i knew the is reason.D/L method intrapolates the result. NZ scored 270 in 47, so as per D/L method Ind (without loosing wickets) were supposed to be 115 runs at 23.3 overs but they had scored 201 runs. And hence we won by 84 runs.

For the teams which are batting second there is a slight advantage as they know what to do .............this is my opinion

they know what to do?!! they always know what to do be it by D/L method or a full match. so how can that be advantage?infact sometimes D/L method can pressurize team as well because u have to maintain certain rate and u have to carry piece of paper and keep looking at it all the time.

When chasing it pressurises for instance in today's match........imagine for india if wkts were lost and constantly rain ineruption....... In one way or the other there might be disadvantage for 1 team...... I magine if a team bats first and scores 200 runs and for sudden rain interuption by 25 overs the team batting second might be asked to score 120 runs..........who is gaining advantage over here........
