India are likely to take 16 players for the two Tests in South Africa, and while 12 pick themselves the other four spots could be filled by a variety of people.

Here we go! 4 spots up for grabs.It's no brainer that one will be gambhir as a reserve opener.Who will be the rest 3?

Gambhir has to be there. Even Zak I hope. Then there will surely be the 'A Grade' Raina and the fourth one could be Ojha or Ishant.

Gambhir, Ishant and Zak will make the cut. No need of Ojha in the team since he wont be picked.

Well, what if there is a last minute injury (to Ashwin). Also, traditionally 16 member squads have had 2 keepers. The choice might be Saha as well. Or Dinesh Karthik because of "batsman" tag.
