Internet gets disconnected every 10 minutes :(

I have UT-300R2U modem and the ADSL light goes on and off every 10 minutes. Is there any solution?

call 198 and tell them there is a line problem. frequent diconnections are usually due to line problems. in the worst case scenario u will have to get ur line changed.

1. Post your SNR and Attenuation values.
2. Reset the modem to factory settings and configure again. Use this guide

3. Check using a friend's modem and confirm.
4. Check splitter and ethernet cable. Use a spare and check.
5. Make sure all connections come after the splitter. Check this diagram

In the matter of the "friendly neighbourhood MTNL hood" :lol; and line issues, it pays, after the linesman are done sweating it out in the open and come to check in on you, to ask them in for a glass of water and tea to show your appreciation. My father's been using MTNL telephones for the last 60 years and our issues got a priority during the worst of times. But this 10 minute off and on thing (have you timed it exactly) leads me to suspect your modem, or server problems at MTNL's end. Oh boy, if it's the latter you are done for, change your ISP at the first opportunity. Kidding, but then maybe i am not.
