Internet light not blinking in i Ball ADSL +2 router

Maybe you bricked it. But that would only happen if a firmware update was botched.
It was because of cd.My router was already configured manually and internet was working but when i run easy setup wizard of cd then internet light was gone and it never come.

I just want to know that will my ISP will be 100% successfull in solving this problem?

2. Did you setup the dialer in windows after changing your modem config to bridge mode?

3. Did you try your username+pass with the dialer you created?

4. If the connection was unsuccessful, what error did you receive from the dialer? Check: DSL Error Code Indentifications ~ ADSL Modems & Wi-fi Routers

Also test login with the following credentials:


i.
Username: multiplay
Password: multiplay

ii. If (i) doesn't work:
Username: bbtest
Password: bsnlmp

I can connect by using username and password as multiplay.So that means that I am using a wrong username and password.I was able to use the internet by the same username and password so how it could be wrong?
My bill of internet has come yesterday but I have not paid the bill.But the due date is 27 Dec.

Ah finally... that means your modem is working properly and we can rule out the modem & its current config...
When "multiplay" worked, was your modem in PPPoA/E or Bridge mode?

I was able to connect by using multiplay in bridge mode and PPPoe mode also.

Did the internet LED light up in PPPoE mode when using "multiplay"? So it's now clear that your modem is not at fault here. All BSNL needs to do is reset your profile & set profile password to the default: "password" and it would be working in no time.

Thank you ,thank you thank you.The password was "password".I was entering "Password" so that's why it did n't work but now you have solved my problem.This forum is great.
 
OMG!

TIP:
"password" (lower case) is the default for all new BSNL connections. In future you can use this http://ssss-multiplay.bsnl.co.in:8080/ssssportal.war/ portal to change the pass. It takes anywhere between 2-24hrs for the change to take place.

Also before messing with setup cd, always take a backup of your modem settings. This nifty little app: RouterPassView - Recover lost password from router backup file allows you view username+pass directly from the backup file...

1.My bill was rs.2700 .I was using bb home combo uld rs.675 for 1st time ,so my bill should be rs.2700?All things including landline ,routerand plan was given 1 month before.
2.How to check my usage of internet?
