iPhone + UTStarcom = wifi Connection???How???

Ok...i know there are many how-tos on the wifi problem related to iPhone....but they seem to just go over my head...can anyone please help me here...

Expanding the title....

I need to connect my iphone to wifi.
I recently upgraded to 3gs...and i have no idea ..AGAIN..on hw to connect it to my braodband connection....


Ummm....details..

Well wen i turn on the wifi status in iphone...i get the name of the connection im using.."UTStarcom" .
So i connect && enter passwrod n stuff .
Then further under DHCP.

IP ADDRESS- 192.168.1.3
SUBNET MAST- 255.255.255.0
ROUTER- 192.168.1.1
DNS- 192.168.1.1
SEARCH DOMAINS- -
CLIENT ID- -

and the HTTP Proxy thing is set to "auto"


I have bsnl broadband 750...thing plan...and im using UTStarcom router thing...wa3002g4......

I have HP laptop....just FYI...with vista

AND yeah i checked in the http://192.168.1.1/ thing and the dhcp is enabled .


So when i connect to this network on iphone...safari dosent' budge...as in im not able to connect...
can anyone help???


P.S.-I was just wondering....like in laptop..you have to connect to wifi...then further where you have to enter username and password...don't we need to do the same in iphone???

AM I SUPPOS TO BRIDGE SUM CONNECTIONS OR NOT???N I NEED TO...WHICH ONE??
Right now...i have to manually connect to these two in red box..

use the bridge mode for ur wired broadband and create a profile ,u can connect it to ur iPhone,i have tried it using my bsnl and itouch 2g
