Well rounding off to some paise is fine because noone has change.

But for online payments you can easily do fractional payments as well and yet they round it off

They even argued that - that they have that power to set price under some section XYZ.

And they even claimed that railway already gives huge discounts on tickets so 5Rs extra should not bother anyone!

^ also out of two UPI paytment gateways, one(axis bank I think) charges 10rs extra for UPI payments. wtf is up with that? wherever you see its money grabbing techniques with railways without providing decent service

Google should ban all the apps which send advertisement via push notification.

Or allow user to disable push notification which are just advertisements.

android has notification channels now. where user can select the kind of notifications app should send him.

problem is that app developers have to use this feature and categorize notifications at their own end.

a shitty company like irctc would not do this because they are not sending you ads for your benefit. they are sending them for their own benefit.

the only choice user is left with in such cases is to disable all notifications. which does not work well when the app actually has useful notifications that you would need.

plus of course... manufacturers are now sending ads through system apps which cannot be disabled at all. like Huawei honor devices. and mi.

If you have uBlock Origin installed, use it to block the three elements that overlay the booked ticket history page. You'll then be able to access the page. I just tried and it worked.
