Yeah, I am a bit surprised at the delayed release. Any reason why? I still remember in olden days (90s) movies used to release in the US and then after a month or so used to release in India.

That has changed. Movies now get released in India first. Avengers too was released first internationally and then in USA. I guess it is easier for movies to leak out from US market?
China I believe has become the preferred market for launch
