I am not using it at night in recent times....i used to do that during September to November.....and at that time, there werent any issues....
I think u better call up the CC & know the reasons to get it rectified.....
I dont have any idea of this, but may be others may help u - if not, then CC is the best option.

And their CC is fairly decent, they should solve it on time.....

Btw, do let me know the cause of this issue & how it was solved.....coz if i (or others) face it, this can be helpful!!

ok problem is resolved . nets working fine now .. some maintenance work was on .. :)

yeah go for Reliance WireLine or WiMax both are awesome and don't forget to get Static IP.
Is static IP free with Reliance wireline broadband?

Is static IP free with Reliance wireline broadband?

Not my area.....i dont understand much of these terms!!

i rather like dynamic ip than static as u have a lot of advantage over static ip specially if u download or upload a lot

If you go for reliance multiuser plan then only you will get static IP. I have Reliance WiMax 1.5 Mbps plan with Static IP

Hi Everyone at India Broadband Forums!

I have been an Air-Tel Broadband user for over 5 years now. I was satisfied with my connection until they introduced "Fair Usage" terms. I feel we are getting cheated as we pay for *unlimited* plan for speeds we want. I am on "Home 799" plan - which gives me 512kbps speed for 8GB and 256kbps after 8GB :wall: and I have to pay 800+taxes for this -- basically it's a 256 k connection as 8 GB gets over really fast (in about 5-6 days) and we are stuck with 256kbps for rest of the month! :confuse:

I want to migrate to a *true* unlimited plan - with speed of 512 kbps. I read through this thread and reliance looks good to me. I understand that there is no FUP/Cap on the D/L

Is the wired broadband service available in Ernakulam (I live near Kakkanad) How is the Reliance CC? How are installation charges and Modem etc costs? Should I opt for BSNL unlimited 512kbps or Reliance (I feel Reliance is value for money as they have 600 Kbps(Day) / 1 Mbps (Night) on their plans for Rs.750)

Another problem is my Airtel landline no. I have given this no. to all my friends/relatives and to other places - can I convert my Air-Tel Broadband combo landline plan to just a fixed line plan. Pls help me!

Edit: just wanted to add that throughout these years, Air-Tel CC was excellent for me. I have the BB/landline in addition to Air-Tel DTH and 2 Air-Tel Mobiles - If it wasn't for Fair usage, i would have been happy with Air-Tel

you can indeed continue to use your airtel number as a landline. here in gurgaon, the minimum rental comes to around 400 bucks which well sucks a lot.

@ Games Goblin....Admin replied to ur last query, i will reply to ur previous query.....Reliance is good overall - only confined to the Wired Internet business though. If u can get it in ur locality then u should consider this as an option. Coz i think they give 600 Kbits/s for 600-650 bucks, INCLUSIVE OF TAXES.And its CC too is decent in most parts of India that i have heard till now - not heard many negatives of it.Bottomline.....if u have this in ur area, then do consider it as an option.
