@Protector Yes, I contacted them. They are just giving me dates, no one is visiting. I got the engineer's number, and I tried contacting him, but he said there was no ticket raised with my name. Yesterday, I contacted customer care again, and they raised the wrong request for frequent disconnections, which is still open. They have not closed it yet, so they can't assign an engineer for configuration. This whole thing is messed up.
@mAstic looks like Customer Service in your area is pathetic and not up-to mark otherwise it doesn't take more than 24 hours to setup Static IP At your location by any Engineer as details are provided instantly through Mail or Engineer (on-site)
I should have better stayed with dynamic IP, with wrong location, high ping, continues packets loss, instead of this madness
Packet loss is caused by Back-End servers by Vendor/Service Provider. Looks like you've internet issue along with Wrong location issues too.
Other than contacting Customer Care, There is not much solutions left to you except raising complaint or Contacting some higher authority at your area either by getting there contact number or E-Mail.

@mAstic You have to understand that they will take their time to resolve your problem. I have repeated this ad nauseum before but let me do so again for you and for anybody who chooses to sign on with an Airtel connection - "Airtel support is LOUSY, it is NOT what it used to be!" Be patient if you can or else you will need to vent on forums like this one to no avail.

Anyways, try emailing them at net @ airtel.in (or .com, try both in case one bounces) to escalate this issue.

PS - I gave up my static IP and am using dynamic IP happily. Who TF cares as long as they deliver on their speed in the plan? Don't get a static IP unless you need it.
