Is Tata Indicom Port Blocking?

I just got a new connection with tata indicom in mumbai. I took the PowerSurf 360 plan. However, while using utorrent i get an error saying "No incoming connections. Ports may not be forwarded correctly." I do not have a router and i was not given a modem from tata, just a cable line. I have windows firewall and AVG antivirus, disabling both did not solve this.So does tata port block?

tata does not block ports, at least where I'm from.

thats not true...tata doesn't block ports, at least out here in mumbai. i use utorrent/limewire/sopcast/tvants without a problem

if you have lan based connection then ports r blocked, if you have adsl connection then ports r not blocked...

thats not true. mine is "lan" based, and nothing is blocked.

tata bought vsnl. they are now known as tata communications i think.

cant be so, anyone using the lan based web dialer has got the ports blocked, if you have lan based pppoe then the case is different....

i use the web dialer on my lan based connection and nothing is blocked. they prolly block way out there in thane!

vsnl was taken over by tata who now give poor speed compared to former vsnlmy ports are blocked too TATA SUX
