I had the same problem and I did a very simple cheap method. My Netlink modem supports multiple ISP connections on a single fiber, so I took one more ISP connection and bound it to the LAN2 port. (Most of the XPON modems should support this)
In this setup,
1. The PC is connected to the modem WiFi, which has ISP 1's connection.
2. The PC is connected to the modem LAN2 via an ethernet cable. This has ISP 2's connection.
I will keep either WiFi or ethernet ON always on the PC. If one connection is dropped, I will switch to the other one. But there's a small delay in switching the connection though.
