BSNL and other operators in India makes people think that a high speed connection is a rare think to find... If this continues... they might even compare FRAUDBAND with PETROL... Like they dig out OILS from oil rigs and extract diesel and petrol through different processes, they talk about laying submarine cables and laying Wimax towers... :P Technology is ONLY in words and not into action... FRAUDBAND in India is damn costly compared to other countries... I wish they hadn't announced this speed hike at all... :(

compared to other countries[/b]

we always compare to developed countries. don't we?

i have said it in the past i would say it again.10 years ago i would not have thought i would be carrying a mobile phone that would let me make free calls to any other phone (umm any tata indicom phone in delhi ncr) for a flat fee of 250 bucks.things happen in india. it takes time. we just need the government to take certain steps. they are taking steps but not implementing them...wimax could change it all for us. :)

I don't know about you all guys but I am not going to give up my UL900 and just close my eyes and think that 2 mbps never happened. I don't have that much money, you know guys, now for exceeding your quota in 2mbps speed you literally have to pay 0.50 paise a second. Wow only Crorepati friend can afford this fraudband.

did anybody notice... that now limit is not download and upload combined ....they hav made it download or upload ..which ever is faster....so its theoretically 5GB limit for Home 500.....

few people would upload as much they download as long as they are on limited connection...
