Actually I have decided the same. I went to Secretary last evening and made a story infront of him saying that my friends are working in
Tata Sky and Videocon and they are giving me free connection . And I want to view HD channels which are not available with Hathway.
He said the same as expected that no one is having DTH connection here and he needs to discuss it with cable operator too as he is his good friend. Later he himself told me that if i know someone from the TS and Videocon, they why not I ask with them for MDU connections.
It sounded WOW for me and i took his number and had given to my friends for the prospective lead. They too were happy to get readymade Lead. Now it all depends upon TS/Videocon guys and my Secretary, but i guess Videocon is providing some amazing offers in MDU connections. My friend told me that they will provide STB free to all the houses

Well, I have a slightly different opinion.
I have shifted from Hathway to Airtel HD once I got a big screen. While the Airtel's PQ over HDMI is noticeably better than what Hathway provides over its AV output, I am quite ticked off by the constant price increases in its base packs and add ons. Also the disruption in rains is quite a put off.
Airtel has a slightly larger dish than TS and fares little better in bad weather, but the disruptions are inevitable. Thats something that I didnt really experience with hathway.
Just waiting for Hathway to launch its HD box and am quite sure I will switch back. Also Hathway will cost much less for the same channels as TS or Airtel each month. If I were you, I'd stick it out with Hathway a little longer.
No doubt in PQ of Present Hathway that its too good, and the biggest advantage of Hathway Digital is that it never went out even when Mumbai was flooded last few days. But HD was suppossed to launch by May still they are clueless when it will be launched. And even if they launch the HD , again I have to change my STB . So I am planning to switch to Other DTH this time.
