Jio fiber router getting slow over time? Restart fixes it.

I changed both IPv4 and IPv6 to “use below” and provided cloudflare DNS addresses. Lets see it it works. Also, i noticed that it doesn’t remember IPv6 settings, it was back to DNS proxy when I checked today, without any router reboots. This jio router is a piece of shit.

@Gaurav15 even if you try changing wan ipv4 dns to cloudflare it will say operation successful but it will still use default jios dns i dont know why they are so salty with cloudflare they literally try to block everything from cloudflare

@Notorious even the cheapest routers that i’ve seen in my life don’t require reboots and such temperatur management. By the way, this problem happens during winters too when temperatures drop below 10°C. Restart is the only fix so far. The problem is clearly with the firmware or the basic architecture of this router. I have decided to go for router replacement, i’ve heard they don provide these models anymore.
