@igloo Took the 499 plan and inquired about 6/12 month discounts cc told me its not applicable on these plans right now, might be in the future or they fooling the customers no idea.

OTT may be available as part of Xstream app even without a box. However, Xstream app does not work on any Android box or firestick other than Xstream box. It only works on a browser or as a mobile app.

That’s not true... I have the Sony 4K Android TV’s at home and Airtel Xstream app is available for them in play store and we are using it without any fire stick or Android box.

I don’t think so cause I just downloaded from play store directly in the TV this should work in any Android TV. Sony doesn’t have a special play store it’s just your regular play store with all the apps. Should work in the new OnePlus Android TV as well also in the new Mi Box 4k

So Xstream app is now available for Android TV platform, but not for normal android box. Possible reason why it does not work for general android box or firestick. But then should work for Mi Box.
However, both mobile app and on browser, live tv is available. If its not available on the Android TV version, then it is a restricted version of the app.
