personally, i would consider it a long term investment. usb-c is not going anywhere. but usb-c chargers are not going to become a common item in households for years. instead of risking losing your charger, it is better to have the adapter that would work with any microusb charger. your next phone is likely to have usb-c, and the next one after that. you can probably find a cheaper adaptor for as little as Rs. 200 from lesser known companies. but it's better to invest once in a high quality product that would last you a lifetime.

USB-C to USB cable is the most notorious cable and is enough to screw the charger it is connected to, the phone or both.

not sure what leeco is bunding with their phone. google nexus 6p comes with a puny usb to usb-c cable. practically useless.

The Le 1s comes with a USB-C to standard USB cable and a huge ass QC charger.

I don't think that is offered.
I have the Le 1S since day 1, never tried it to be honest. And haven't even heard anything of this sort.

Do let us know if it works though. I don't have any other USB Type C device to test.
