Guys just wanted a clarification.
I took a docomo postpaid sim with 3g, after activation when i enable data service it connects to the internet and net speed is really low. It shows the Edge `E` symbol on the notication bar. I preferd docomo as my friend uses it in same locality in his nexus 5 and he has great speeds.
I tried calling docomo customer care, they told me the APN settings, and also askd me to switch on `Data roaming` in the fon. Even after doing all that i get only gprs speed.
So my doubt is shouldnt it be showing `3g` in notification bar? And Which `network mode` should i select. Currently its `GSM only`.

I am enjoying LTE 60 Mbps speeds on my G2 in Singapore. So LTE does work on our D802 model. LG releasing another variant for LTE is pure rip off.

After inserting new LTE enabled usim, I get LTE option under network selection. Btw this is LG stock unrooted KitKat ROM.

Of course LTE works, I got 50 mbps speeds in hong kong. Its India's fault, it uses the crappy 2300 mhz bands that no one else uses.

My phone appears to freeze during normal operation: the screen simply does not take any inputs at all and locking/unlocking the phone using power button usually fixes the issue
I reset the phone several times, installed applications one by one to rule out any app related issue and more importantly it happens on any simple app

Does anyone else have these issues?

Our G2 also supports that 2300 frequency Band 40. It's there under RAT selection in hidden menu.
My friend is using Airtel 4g on his iPhone.... I tried using his Sim on my LG G2 but didn't get 4g even after I tried to enable Band 40 from the hidden menu !

It only connects to 3g network on my G2 and the iPhone otherwise connects to the 4g network automatically giving 4g speeds

While initially launching LG g2 lg india manager said in press release that when 4g comes on band 40 we'll release os update to support it, hardware already supports it but now they've introduced another LTE variant.

Anyone want a link to sue them, lg india losers

Please share the link here... I'll either get 4g enabled or sue them for false claims
