Could any one provide list of Tamil & Malayalam Channels on Tata Sky How much do i need to shelll out if i need only Tamil & Malayalam Channels Thanks SJ

hi shibu..welcome to ts forum..well Tata Sky provides us very few regional content..and tamil and malayalam the least as comapred to the viewers ..The malayalam channels currently provided by TS areDMALAYALAMASIANETASIANET NEWSKAIRALIAMRITAINDIAVISIONSURYA KIRANWhile if u have sun dth u will get asianet plus,kairali people,jeevan,kairali we,shalom,manorama news in addition to above channels..and if u take dish tv u will get asianet plus,manorama news & jeevan tv in addition to waht in TS..The best channels like kairali we,rosebowl ,jeevan are missing in ts .. The tamil channels include..DDPODHIGAISUN TVSUN NEWSSUN MUSICKTVCHUTTI TVKALAIGNER TVSTAR VIJAYJAYA TVSUN NEWS..and in sun dth u will get almsot all popular tamil channels otehr than this including rajtv.So if u r looking for regional cotnent (for tamil and malyalam)eitehr stick to cable wal or sun dth or wait for reliance..and comparng tata sky and sihtv..dishtv have more taml and mal channels..so choice is urs..pls go thru this forum and dish tv forum and also su ndth forum before taking a decision..happy viewing and take care..

I think in Sun dth you will get all the Asianet & Kiralai channels. Also SS music and others which are missing in TS.

Check: http://66.132.244.239/0950/eng/ and see the channels which is provided by Sun dth. You will also receive DD direct+ along with it.
