Hi,

I am looking for reviews from people using ACT Fibernet in Bangalore?
How is the overall experience? Is the connection stable?
What about their customer service if there is a fault?

Also, in terms of pings, how is their ping to AWS Mumbai servers (3.6.0.0)?
Can someone from Bangalore using ACT Fibernet share the ping results to 3.6.0.0 ?

bump

its bad in BTM layout. Lot of packetloss, frequent disconnections and power backup only for 3-4hrs in case of power cut.

I've only used ACT in central Bangalore and I haven't had any significant downtimes in the past 8 months other than once when the fiber was cut.

Been an ACT user for the last 4+ years . No issues . responsive customer care . Issues are addressed pretty fast . No major downtimes except for 2 -3 times in the last 4+ years. Majority of those times it was due major fiber cuts . But ACT compensates by adding extra days to the validity if there is any major outages lasting more than their TAT. Currently on their ACT incredible plan and looking to upgrade to GIGA soon .

Is the ping test done through ACT Broadband from Bangalore? 47ms is very very high from Bangalore to Mumbai AWS. It should ideally be within 20 ms. Was it done on Wi-Fi? Also, which plan are you using?

@varunc24 That ping is perfect. Good to hear that you are having no major issues with ACT Broadband. Any idea how ACT Broadband is in CV Raman Nagar? Near GM Palya? I am getting mixed reviews.

If you are not sure - then dont signup for any annual discount plan, signup for month - month plan and if satisfied do as necessary.

Bangalore, not WiFi, ACT Lightning.

That's just how it was that day. It's slightly better today:

@preetam88 I have a static IP may be that's why i have a slightly better ping than redskyitm . They used to give static ip for additional monthly charges , but now I am not sure if they are still giving it or not . If you are not sure take a monthly plan , and then may be migrate to longer duration plan.
