I live in Lucknow and normally I like to play online multiplayer games.The average pings I get on Indian servers is always greater than 250.Usually on any other broadband service the ping is less than 100.Please inform me that why is this happening? I heard that the routing has changed to Flagtel.If thats the case then please revert all those changes as it causes a lot of trouble to those who like to play online.Thank you
If u wanna play online games then go find some other ISP. Reliance is good for browsing and downloading only.

raj now this might be pure luck but a week ago my pings were BACK to NORMAL..like getting an average of 70ms on any Indian server...that worked for a month and then all of a sudden...250ms again.So I see some chances of improvement and yes I agreee the downloading part...epic speeds man...400 kBps on a 2 mbps plan.I'm amazed

sorry bro cant understand ,,,,dont know about mac binding but i cant tell you that i have resetted my router several times after the problem,played with settings but nothing helped....please if it is related to the mac ID etc than please explain me..

Right, see the MAC address of your router is like an ID that uniquely identifies it. Did you have to get your router or pc registered with reliance before using the connection on either of the two ?

kk....,....my router is in service centre it will probably come tommorrow or wednesday....i hope the problem will be fixed but if i got any problem i will ask you for help thank you....

User Id 334344477796I have plan of Freedom 999 in kolkata, which speed up to 12 mbps up to 25GB thereafter 1 mbps, but my connection never speed up more than 1 mbps, even speed test result shows the same below 1 mbps speed, the engineer/technician told me that this is not 12 mbps bandwidth connection but share bandwidth speed upto 12 mbps ( means you can use parallel 12 user or 12 download can be done same time with 1 mbps speed,) either it is a tricky plan or I am being cheated, because after plan sold to me that sales man never received my phone call. this is most laziest technicians I have ever made who came and not even touch a wire, started to download videos and told me his own technical story rather than find out the source of the problem. I want to ask Reliance it is real 12 mbps connection, or the same as that technician said, I mailed the same to customer care but no reply from them, Please reply

He just made a fool out of you.He is legally bound to give you speed of atleast 80% of 12mbps.This shared connection story is a sham.Report it to TRAI or better still.kick reliance out of your house.

^ 12 mbps is only possible if you're on metro Ethernet (direct LAN cable)If your connection is via adsl (phone line) , you'll get 1 mbps.

Hi Priyan! Are you guys sending the bill after cancelled the service ? Last I got recurring charges of "Rs.200". I cancelled my subscribe 2 months before. Hello,i applied for a new wireline broadband connection of reliance for my home.....and it takes so much efforts from my side to conatct with reliance broadband service providers ..when ever i call them they said in next 48 ours man will come to your home..but no one come ....after the so many efforts finally a man came and see the connection availbilty ..he said there is no problem in getting a new connection he show me some plans and i selected the 549 nite zoom plan..he said to make advance payment by check ..so i gave him a check of 1150 (549 rental and 599 installation charge)..he told me that in 7 days all equipments will install..but no one came in those 7 days so i call that person who came to my home..he said my application form is rejected becoz my home distance is more than 50 meters form the main line or whatever they call that box...i never ever heard about this condition in any ips provider...not even in the rcom site.nor in web..i need reliance broadband i m so despret to get it is there any way to get it.......i ask that person is there any way to solve this prob he said no..i told him that i m ready to pay for the extra wire ..but no one respond..plz help is there really a condition of 50 meters in rcom..Or they making me fool.my contact num is 9026828090..Lucknow..PLz .......
