Is there a way remove that DEFAULT page , which comes now & then ?

^ Not that I know of. Basically I have got in the habit of connecting the WiFi, then opening a browser and clicking on my Google bookmark till the startup page opens (usually happens in the first try, but sometimes in the second or third). Then I close it by clicking the Close option on that startup page. After that it NEVER comes in that session. It will come again only if I turn the device off and on. So it's not too much of an annoyance for me.

Few days back I purchased this router basically to have hotspot to connect to my iPad and iPhone.
I had no problems starting and connecting the modem and the same is working fine.
My problem is that after connecting my IOS device I must first log in to my default Browser before actually I an use Internet on my devices.
If i just want to check on my mail or add a contact, the mail app [email protected] fetch the mail and the contact app [email protected] sync with iCloud unless I started my browser beforehand.
I find the above problem quite irritating and waste of time and consumption of data without any purpose.
Prior to Micromax 400R I was using Olive Pocket Router and with that I never faced this problem, I could start any App without the hassle of Landing Page of Micromax.
Friends! Please guide me if there is a way by which I can avoid this irritant.
I look forward to get a solution here on this forum

Not sure why you find it "unfirendly." I totally agree that the whole default startup / landing page thing is assinine and totally unprofessional. In that sense, for someone like Lalit Lohia who wants to use it with a tablet or phone would find it annoying that you have to go to the startup / landing page first in the browser before apps start working. But other than that, once the device is setup (which is not very hard or unfriendly), all you have to do is to turn the device on, and when you are finished, to turn it off. What's irritating about that?

I have bought 1 one of these and am unable to open the default page at http://192.168.1.1
I connected the 3G sim (Idea) and plugged into laptop via the USB cable. I had to switch on the wifi for the laptop to see the device.
The laptop now sees the device. I can connect to the device SpeedsterMMX400R and it shows connected, but without Internet.
At this point, when I try to access http://192.168.1.1, it shows page cannot be found. The idea sim works well with the Micromax USB data card dongle.
My laptop (Win 7) otherwise is able to connect to my home wifi properly.
What could be wrong?
I need ur assistance on this. I have bought this device for my father and I feel very embarrassed that its not working now.
Please help. Also cud u email me the user manual?

Thanks DanTool. I could make it work finally.Since I had connected it to the laptop, it was just charging, though the wifi was connected, but there was no internet.I detached it from laptop, switched off and then switched it on, connected laptop thru wifi and it worked like a charm.So now I am good on mifi!If I have to make it work while it is getting charged via laptop (usb connected), can I still browse internet?Thanks, Anukul
