Google has put MS in a spot. 199 dollars for Nexus is too good. Google is willing to sell Tablets without profit but it looks as if Surface will end up around 500 dollars (basic model). I think MS cant compete with iPad now and people who need a cheaper tablet will definitely go for Nexus Tab.
Swedish website Webhallen.com is listing Microsoft Surface tablet pricing on its site. If these details are correct then pricing would be substantially higher than previously thought. Of particular interest here is the cheapest Arm based WinRT device, a 32GB model, showing up costing around £648.00 or $1000.
:aglerks: Windows RT is the METRO ONLY edition of Windows. No desktop. No support for current generation apps. It's the ARM edition which means that only METRO APPS would work on it.
