I dont think they'll be making more upgraded versions or might be like the occasion nexus. They'll give space to OEMs. Though a great product, i feel microsoft made it to make the ball rolling.

BTW this is one of the things I was talking about when I said showcasing ur product when it is closer to a release date is a much better idea... Ut product is more polished & u have a more bug free product that journalist & developers can actually touch & get a feel off...
^ exactly. windows 8 is still not RTM so there are bound to be bugs. the event was all about Surface; not abt showcasing windows 8. it does not change the fact that this is a far better and infinitely more useful product than tht overpriced kid toy(known as ipad)
