Moto E only supports Nano sim.
I am not happy about it. As a backup phone. I would have preferred Micro sim.
Edit: Official Motorola sites says, it uses "Micro Sim".
Edit2: Confirmed it with someone who received it today morning that it indeed uses "Micro Sim".

ooh nano sim. you have to get a new sim right? cutting a regular sim to nano sim is not possible in most cases?

Some sites say micro-sim and some say nano-sim.
And their is an unboxing video on youtube that says Nano-sim.

I think you can cut regular sim cards to nano sim. At least the newer ones with smaller chip size.
