Mobile computing is a much hyped platform

For those who think iPhone or android is advanced, try printing a simple text document using your phone. You need to download a third party software(paid off course). Download a document renderer. Download the printer driver(if it is supported. Non-wireless printers can commit suicide). And when you finally try printing, the app either crashes or prints a single page document divided in two pages because the renderer is f$%ked up.

Even windows 98 could do a simple job of printing a text file without downloading crap from everywhere.

:numbness:
I can print just fine from my N4 without paying a penny for apps.

Well. He is talking about older printers. You and me have KitKat devices and Cloud Print enabled printers.

AND. He is right about renderers. Documents are fine. But most of the times when I try printing a large image from the web directly, it prints it out in multiple pages. There is no preview renderer in KitKat from what I understand. And the HP's own utility which appears to be made for this purpose fails to work most of the times.

I felt that comparison odd.
And printing from mobile devices is just recently introduced (native printing on IOS7 and 4.4 KitKat, correct me if I'm wrong). So comparing mobile printing right now with PC printing, I don't feel it right.
