When i noticed battery drain i remember using tips from a thread at xda forums regarding increasing moto g battery life you should check that. They are lots of tips which are bound to make a difference.

Got one for my dad, seems like a nice phone @ 13k.

i just dropped my moto g from 3 ft height and its screen cracked.
it is so fragile. went to service centre in gurgaon, he said it is not covered under warranty and asked for 5300/- to repair it...it is damn costly.
can't they just replace the front glass as the display is working perfectly. service centre guy says he can't just replace the glass. front glass and touch panel comes as integrated unit that will cost arnd 5k......i doubt him.

any idea guys???

He's right.. Thats the avg cost of any mid/high end mobile. Note 2 screen replacement cost me 7.5k.

same thing happened with my moto g (1st gen). service centre charged just rs 1700 to change the glass though.

I think admin should make a STICKY thread about repair cost in Service Center and Outside Service Center.

Most newer phone have LCD and Digitizer so closely glued that its not easy to replace digitizer alone but its something which is
not Impossible, People do get that repaired in open-market, but you need to hunt and find which shop does that in your city.

Even if you get screen+Digitizer replaced for a 5 inch phone, it would be around half the price which service center asks.

once your screen is gone, there's very slim possibility that replacing it from service center would keep your warranty still valid
so why waste the money.

try the service centre in subhash place, pitam pura. i will advice you to go as soon as it opens in the morning, as it is a multibrand service

centre and waiting time can be 1-2 hrs.
