After using for a few days now noticed Ram is better managed. Battery life seems to be okay just as before no big change. UI is good, but a few things could have been left alone.

Cousin owns a moto g 2nd gen update did not show up, moto support asked him to clear cache or do hard reset.

So I was having exclamation mark on both cell and Wi-Fi symbols, and mobile data was not working. After some troubleshooting realized my sim was on slot 2, moved out to slot 1, restarted and it fixed all the exclamation mark issues.

Does anyone know what happened to vibrate mode or how to set it up. Now i am only able to select silent mode which is not working for me. I already missed important calls. Vibrate was good no noise disturbance and still you know you have a call or message.

read more about priority mode. i have read a bit about how confusing the new thing is. have not looked into it.

I got a shocker today.

One of my friends accidentally dropped Moto G in water, he slipped on sea side and phone came in water for few seconds.
they told me Moto G was supposed to be water resistant.

Is Moto G water proof like Xperia-Go was ?

Service center refused to give warranty on this incident,

Any suggestions ?

nope. it is water resistant. not water proof. as in rain would probably not damage it as water slides off easily because of the coating on the back or something like that. but dropping it in water? that's death.
