Galaxy Tab started at 38k as well... Its around 22 now. Someone had posted cost is near 10.I guess still we will find a few enthusiastic people going for them
 
the thing is. this price range is very close to what Apple is charging for their ipad 2. no matter how much i dislike apple and the ios platform... i would still be an idiot to go for an android based tablet that costs more than 35K.
 
Yeah, I think in a few months (days maybe??? ) these also be will be settling at 20-30 range.Dell Streak is another example - From mid 30s to mid 20s now
 

samsung Galaxy tab and Dell streak were not really native android tablets. they were just media players with larger screens. :) motorola xoom is different from them. i cannot wait to see what samsung does with galaxy tab 10.1 which is probably the best android tablet out there. of course, Acer is doing a pretty good job with their iconia tab series as well.
 
So Flyer comes in the Galaxy Tab category according to you?

I think the line between smartphone & tablet has become very blurry & size seems the only factor left to differentiate the two

Consider the fact - A friend of mine even thought of using Dell Streak as a regular phone :D
 
last i checked flyer comes with a single core processor and android 2.2 with htc sense. and it is also a fairly old model. it would be stupid on htc's part to price it anywhere close to xoom which is in a totally different segment.

considering phones today are featuring displays as large as 4.7" Dell streak's 5" is not that bad far off.
