If you personalise it in options you have many options to display.
Thanks for the info. I'll check it out next time when I do a speedtest.
Anyway my point was that duke7891's speedtest.net result is in Mbps.
Its obviously not possible actually but somehow due to some glitch on speedtest's part, it showed 152 Mbps.

yeap. here are my results in kbps.

It is showing 0.58 Mbps & not Kbps .

G.DMT is supposed to be one of the most stable modulation as far as MTNL is concerned. There are many other modulations: ADSL2/2+, ADSL, G.lite, T1.413.

Asymmetric digital subscriber line - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are no 'optimum' values for SNR & Line Attenuation. The more is your SNR value the better is your line & the reverse is true for Line Attenuation.
I google and found that ADSL2 is usually best on lines like ours, but occasionally G.dmt (ADSL 1) is the right choice. Hence it means that G.dmt is old technology.

yes G.Dmt is older but except few exceptions, many ppl on this forum (including me) find that line remains stable with G.Dmt but it becomes very unstable with ADSL2+.Also as of now, G.Dmt is not causing any difference in speed.
