My speeds have gone crappy..thats the only update from me..

my speeds are okay so far i could say...
i got a sms from MTNL at 1030pm stating that they have done an activity to fix this disconnection so please check and reply. i had got the torrent to download overnight. so from the usage report i could it was disconnected after 245-250mb...and now when i am downloading through idm it is getting disconnected at 150mb i could say...
will let know the technician that disconnections are still there...what about you guys any improvement?
They will revert it back to 2gb or 6hr limit before disconnection like before. Hopefully.
Even that is total ghetto.

2gb before disconnection is like heaven or anytime acceptable when compared to now...i never had 6hr time limit disconnection but always had 2gb disconnection which is okay/fine....

2 GB still won't be acceptable for me though.Sometimes i download several files each of 2 GB so it might become a problem.I mean its stupid it should disconnect after a certain amount of data has been downloaded.I still have an unlimited plan, so why this restriction?

2gb is always what it used to be with MTNL and that won't change. Bsnl has the same of 24hr disconnection. They use dynamic ips so they want to be released. and disconnection once in 2gb is easy cake because you got reconnect software...think this way 30mb disconnection in 2gb file and 1 disconnection in 2gb file which one you would go for...been with mtnl for over a year and they always disconnect at 2gb no matter but can be connected for almost 2days if you haven't crossed 2gb....

Well i just downloaded a 450 mb file with just one disconnection happening at 242 mb.So i can say it has improved a lot from yesterday.
think this way 30mb disconnection in 2gb file and 1 disconnection in 2gb file which one you would go for...been with mtnl for over a year and they always disconnect at 2gb no matter but can be connected for almost 2days if you haven't crossed 2gb....

after you are connected a 2gb total data transfer(up & down) disconnects you and then reconnects won;t allow you to stay connected after 2gb on same ip.
so it looks like you are also getting disconnected at same mb of 240 like mine i guess it would be the same for others now, the ones like us who had disconnections after 30mb.
i also told my technician that my friend you also has the same mb limit which is 240mb before the disconnection. he said yeah he is aware and most probably today again there will be another activity like they did yesterday night at 1030pm.
