Mtnl ppl have come with new plan with 4Mbps connection speed in mumbai. :cool2:


DSL 4MB - 8GB free usage - Rental 1499 p.m

Speed - 4Mbps (Actual Download speed upto 512kbps)

Annual Subscription Charger - 16489 p.a

Additional Download Charge - 0.70 per MB

Better than DSL 4MB would be to go for 1 Mbps UL for Rs. 100 extra, any day.:thumbsup:But atleast MTNL Mumbai is releasing new plans and updating the old ones with double speeds(Unlimited plans only) unlike MTNL Delhi which isn't offering anything new which might be because their plans were quite cheaper earlier and made lots of loss compared to MTNL Mumbai which was making profit.:yahoo:

broadband companies have to start charging per GB instead of MB for data transfer limited plans.

8GB at 4mbps can be consumed in 4 hours 26 minutes 40 seconds.

If uploads are counted, it would finish up faster.
