^^ That is because of different interleaving on different speed profiles. Interleaving adds unnecessary delay of few milliseconds. But this keeps the connection stable and reduces the amount of crc errors in the modem. MTNL maintains that this interleaving is necessary.

Today the experience is like New Alcatel.

Random sites are taking long delay to load.

its utter crap today.. trust mtnl to screw what works properly. that is their USP." we screw everything"

I was connecting to 120.62.0.1 gateway till yesterday.

Now I am connecting to 120.62.32.1

Spoke straight to server room. Some major issue is going on. Pretty sure all the traffic is diverted to shitty New Alcatel server.

The way speedtest.net needle behaves during speedtest gives a clear indication that we are on New Alcatel.

By the way timeouts on random sites.

Weird shit going on. Cannot explain but something is wrong. Let me try.

Sites load and don't load. Tweetdeck works but doesn't load images sometimes.
Apps on Wifi work but don't load well.

Links once clicked don't load but refreshing makes them work fine.

Edit : Did a speedtest, everything looks fine as it should be but internet isn't fine.
