MTNL Broadband: MTNL U torrent download

Guys i have gone through many online forum and still not able to increase my download speed Utorrrent from 24 -25kbI am MTNL plan 256 unlimitedU torrent speed is maximum 25 .. taking hours to download for example Episode of DR House season 5 (350mb) is taking around 6 - 7 hours .. Can any one help me to increase the speedI am using D-Link router GLB 502T Any help shall be appreciated Regards,Manish

Ur theoritical max rate is 32 kBps..because of MTNL's sync rate policies the max that practically u can expect is ~28 KBpsThe torrent rate is always less than the practical rate so ~25 KBps should be ok

you are getting normal speeds as per your plan notnew888 . change to a higher plan to get better speeds

for me 350MB = 3-4 hours at same rate...i.e. 25kB/s to 26kB/s

The speeds are very normal for your connection.Am using the same plan as your's.Torrent download speeds is around 26KBps most of the times..for me a Movie of 700 MB usually takes 8 Hours.

use private torrent site ,there are good seeder,before i was getting 29-30 KB at those sites but now i m getting only 24-25 KB at 256 kbps . i need to complain about this to Exchange
